There is. I did some testing a while back on lvl 50 dummies. I'm 100% certain there is a difference. I know it doesn't make sense, but that's the game I suppose :P

It misses off a Hit % column at the end of the Right Tables I stopped working on it because after around 1000 swings per position @ every different accuracy tested, I think it's safe to say there is something going on.

EDIT 2: Ignore the Bard table with max/min distance. It means nothing at all. Was just wondering if distance made an impact, but I stopped testing as our "hamsters" broke around 2.15, when I was testing.

I can say that I have put in thirty plus some hours of T8 with only in the rear of the target for ID and Brain Jack. I will ask a friend for some old records, but pretty sure I stopped missing once I hit 490. 80% of the fight, I am in flank position.
T9, I saw a miss or two, until I started to raise Accuracy. Have not seen a miss since hitting 495. But can reduce down and test this up coming week if you need more input.

ANYWAY, so I've been in a tussle over gear. :/ Don't suppose I could get a hand in terms of picking the next soldiery goodness?

Currently @ 472 Accuracy with the following;

Allagan Ring of Maiming
Hero's Ring of Slaying

-- Now I was thinking I'd snag the earring first since the Striking one..kinda stinks and I haven't had luck with the Maiming one somehow, so.. I figure accuracy (to make up for the loss from Atma (On book 4 atm) to Allagan I lost) would help, but not sure!

What other pieces of gear do you have Cakey? That'll make it easier to optimise and to pick your best purchase. Just by looking, I can say the Weathered Gloam Ring, or the Weathered Astrum Hose will be the next, best purchase for you.

Exactly. And that's consistent with what everyone else is saying. Which is why when I read that someone has reported 0 misses at a significantly lower accuracy, you have to ask and eliminate all the anomalies that could've produced that result.

Um, in the chest.. Allagan Visor of Maiming, Hero's Bracelets of Slaying, the Allagan Striking ring, and the Allagan Gauntlets of Maiming.

Kinda wanna get the Visor back on, but the 21 accuracy from the Wyrm helm obviously helps due to the massive loss the Allagan Spear has, though once I get my Animus finished that'll be helpful.

Awesome, thanks for the advice! I was thinking the Gloam ring actually. Ended up with 512 STR, 474 accuracy, 443 Crit, 318 Determination, 405 SS (w/o food of course) so a slight upgrade over the other stuff!

Think I may save up for pants next. Will take a couple weeks ago. Man.. replacing 34 accuracy from the Allagan pants is going to be rough D:

What the dragoons are wearing this season (not me in the pic). Didn't recall seeing any screenshots, and how many can there be with body and weapon? Congrats to the owner.

I didn't have any miss with HT, just one with auto attack when the Avatar turned in front of us but I guess that doesn't count, lol.
