Yeah the enmity shed is useful for times like those, though those scenarios happen pretty rarely. I mainly use it to dodge aoe and i've actually never had an issue with a "wtf how did i die, i elusive jumped that!" I guess due to good latency/judgement. I like using it in T9 during thunder out/fire out and keeping dps pressure on with piercing talons, or during titan EX weight of the lands if i just landed from a regular jump. Speeding it up so its less floaty would be cool though.
