    Hi there,

at the moment, with my FC, we are trying to down T9, but we struggle to get enough DPS, even with 5 DD in the team. So, as a dragoon, I was wondering if my DPS was ok, or if I am missing something.

With my current gears (http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...acter/2458869/), I have (IIRC) around 430 DPS on a training dummy after 3 minutes, without food, potion or team buff (with a burst of 560 dps for the first 30s). Well, that was without the ironworks chest, and with the astrum chest I110.

When running T9 (P1 and P2), my DPS drops to about 380, which seems to be low. I have some troubles to put my full rotation on Nael and sometimes the golems due to the jumps and moves. However, I often end up with no remaining time of Dis/CT/Phleb when Nael is back.

So, I don't know if I am doing something wrong, or if all the dragoons have the same problem... So if you have some tips, and if you could as well comment on my DPS, that would be great.

    Thanks

    Yuzu

430 DPS for your gear is more or less fine on a dummy.

T9 on DRG is really basic for the first half, you basically save a Spine or DFD for the first Iron Chariot, and otherwise just training dummy it while keeping in mind if your buffs and DoTs will get cut short too much by a jump (in which case you shouldn't use it). When Nael jumps the second time, it's expected for most if not all your stuff to fall off, which is fine since DoTs don't tick while she jumps anyway. Final phase, be brave with positionals and ask Thunderstruck targets to go away, but if you have to an ID combo or HT for stacking purposes, just suck it up, you're not going to force a loss because you had to do an extra FT combo.

It sounds like you're doing enough as DRG. If with echo and 5 DPS you're running into legitimate DPS wipes, it's most probably not you and can be attributed to your fellow DPS.

Your dps seems fine; a bit lower than you could for P1/P2, but much more than what is required for the fight with 5 dps anyway. It would help if we knew what you are struggling with; i assume you do not talk about the golems to end P2 before megaflare ? You should have 10-15 seconds of margin for this honestly, at least. If it is for getting only 1 dragon in heavensfall, do you have deaths ?

Either you have people constantly dieing, or you have some very, very, very serious slackers in your team. Do not only measure your own dps, watch the toher guys input.
