
Sometimes I wonder why can't we just move while we're up in the air.Not sure if you guys are mistaking "reduced animation lock" for shorter animations because the animation remains the same.
They didn't shorten the actual animation but you are able to move as soon as your character touches the ground while part of the animation plays while you're moving. Previously you'd be stuck to the ground briefly after landing. They shortened the amount of time you get locked into place after using a jump, very noticeable if you hold a direction as soon as you're about to land.
Sadly you aren't able to use any additional skills while the animation is playing so the issue of jumps cutting into the next GCD skill slightly is still present.
