    Should I be expecting considerably less damage on t6 compared to t8? Trying to give my raid leader a point of reference, the vines are absolutely killing me, though.

    Not considerably less, but you will do less, there's a lot more mechanics that will hurt your damage, at least up until the final phase where you go all out.
