Anyone happen to know the materia meld stat caps for the iLv100 PvP gear? Some of the pieces when quint melded have the potential to be BiS in terms of stat weightings.

A few pages back (from page 231 onwards), it was suggested by Augustus that the Wolfram helm quint melded has higher stat weightings than both the High Allagan visor and Astrum helms. But taking Snaketongue helm as an example, it has 3 more STR and 5 more Crit with 21 less Skill Speed. In terms of stat weightings, that's:

3 + (5*0.204) - (21*0.178) = 0.282 stat point weighting in favour of Snaketongue helm non-melded.

Now keep in mind that the PvP set is iLv100 so if the stat caps of materia melds have been raised, you could potential slap more DET onto it compared to the Wolfram helm (Wolfram helm DET caps out on 15).
Now the question is exactly how much materia can you slot into the iLv100 PvP gear? I'm assuming because it already has 23 Crit, that 23 is likely to be the stat cap for Crit, SS and Acc and judging from other pieces 16 looks like the cap for DET. Based on these assumptions, you could potentially slot it one of three ways to maximise stats:

21 STR, 23 Crit, 16 DET, 18 Acc ---------30.892 weighting
21 STR, 23 Crit, 16 DET, 9 SS, 9 Acc ----32.494 weighting
21 STR, 23 Crit, 16 DET, 18 SS ----------34.096 weighting

For reference:
High Allagan, 25 Acc ---------------------27.627 weighting
Astrum, 18 Acc --------------------------28.450 weighting

And that's just for the helm! other pieces such as the hands, feet and belt looks likely to be BiS when quint melded as well.

Keep in mind the above holds true if the assumed materia cap of secondary stats is to be 23/16. If anyone knows the actual cap, please share it with us!
