My Titan Rotation is not optimal rotation I use for max DPS. As said before I only got around 277 in that fight. I released that video mainly on helpful purposes for newer players who haven't actually experienced that specific fight itself.

And why would you not use your optimal rotation if it's gonna give you that magical 70 extra DPS? Oh, unless all your 300+ parses came from, as you say in your youtube comments, FROM CASTRUM MERIDUM.
See, here's what I think happened. You wanted to show off some e-peen, made some claims based on numbers from meaningless situations, showed screenshots thinking that would be enough until you got called out for a dummy parse. So you gathered all your FC, get a light/full party together in same zone as a dummy, build limit break, then reset parser and do your burst + limit break, saw that 322 dps number, and think that could fool us too?
OR you found a magical rotation that has never been discovered in the 40+ pages prior that can give 320-350 DPS reliably in a real, sustained situation?
The skeptic in me finds this hard to believe.
I hope in your quest for e-peen, you didn't permanently sully you and your entire free company's reputation since they came on this board, name calling people who were asking for more substantial proof idiots and bad players. Great thing about FFXIV, game/forum accounts are tied and permanent. :-)

Lol wow this is ridiculous. You really think someone would go that far for e-peen stroking? My god. You don't understand at all. The reason they posted this was to prove it is possible to get this amount of dps as a DRG, not to stroke their own e-peen. I can personally tell you that they weren't even in a group during this parse because I was on during it. But of course... you probably won't believe me so what's the point. Conspiracy theorist much? You're so deadset on denying the truth that is right in front of your face? So be it.
Saying that this person "conspired" to create a fake DPS reading for.. forum e-peen is stupidIt feels more likely that they just used a bugged/outdated parser to parse their damage inaccurately. I don't think there has been any substantial evidence showing 300+ DPS yet, sadly... Definitely looking forward to it if you can post a video!
Again, I've talked to many Dragoons in Behemoth; many of them I know are skilled gamers with a lot of raiding background, and of course endgame experience up to Turn 5. They're all very geared with Relic +1 and various Mythology/Allagan pieces; but in the parses I've asked them to do on test dummies none of them come close to 300+ DPS, especially consistently. Typically I'd run my parser while they ran theirs, and our results were very close. Average DPS recorded was typically around 260-270.
It's definitely not a player skill issue; no rotation changes beyond the basic cookie-cutter ones will push that 280 DPS up 15%-35% to achieve the 320-380 DPS that Longnu is reporting.
To give benefit of the doubt though, I'd be very interested in personally parsing you whenever you have free time! It is less hassle than making a video, and results should be accurate and conclusive. For the sake of the thread, I think it'd be worth the trouble to cooperate!

If he's gonna just post up a bunch of screenshots with his leet 300-370 dps and give no context for it, and then follow it up with a boastful insinuation that people who can't reach it should come to him for tips, then we're gonna assume he's actually putting MEANINGFUL numbers out there.
Now if he had prefaced his original posts of parses with, "These come from Castrum Meridum bosses" which he says himself on his youtube video page, with a geared full party group, with access to level 2/3 limit breaks, then fine. I mean, we'll still laugh at his post and his idea that those numbers mean ANYTHING at all, but at least we can understand his ignorance.

My problem is when he follows that up with his douchey comments telling people who can "only" parse 250 (which is nothing to be ashamed of with darklight, relic weapon) to learn to play. Now I'm gonna call him out on his shit.
If he left it at that, he can slink away and whatever. But the real incriminating thing is when he posted that dummy parse. First parses was ignorance, but I can only see that dummy parse being an outright attempt at lying and covering up for his earlier statements. Show me a real time video of him in his +1 relic, full darklight gear on his lodestone profile parsing 322 dps without using limit break, lasting longer than a minute and a half, showing the damage per attacks, then I'll gladly shut up. Till then, the burden of evidence is on the person making the outlandish claims.
Now either put up actual evidence and shut me up, or can he and his FC boyfriends please STFU and return this thread to actual good content?

We'll this thread used to be good. Then a coy liar ruined it.
Keep up the good work Bossmoney I see you have everything under control.

I'm hoping this exchange only last a few pages so people get it out of their systems. I always find parsers have a habit of ruining much of the fun of learning your class, but there will always be people who want to compare their numbers to others. This leads to the inevitable "omg I got X on Titan everyone else is nub" "how did you do X pics or it didn't happen" "here's pic" "those are bullshit because of x y z" "you're bullshit" "no you"...etc ad infinitum. It's a pointless argument, and I'm hoping that is realised before the thread becomes nothing but parse pictures.
Play what you love, learn the mechanics, learn your priorities. For people who really do think they are doing something wrong, I could consider posting a help video if that was what was wanted, but I doubt that is the case. From my experience most players are doing everything right and all parse comparison serves to do is muddy the water.
I know you are both decent dudes, and I think it was a worthwhile discussion to have for a couple pages. It actually served as an excellent microcosm of how poisonous parse comparing can get. But please, as a personal favor to me, if this is going to continue make a new thread.
