Which comes to a point i disagree with this thread. Conventional armor/resistance formulas (not just for MMOs) go somewhere along the line of 100/(100+armor/resistance). It makes more sense that a 10% reduction does not mean a straight up 10% increase in damage, if not it makes stacking armor rather moot.

And using 100/(100+resistance) formula gives at best a 3% increase in damage taken, with values up to 400 resistance (we have 34X ish resistance on our characters as basis)
