    Dragoons are beasts in PvP. They really set the tone in total damage dealt. I dont think I've been in a match yet where my total dmg fell below 20k.

    i found my damage around 20k too, how are you handling rotations. all the movement is constantly blowing me away. I'm also saving my jumps for burst kills. when they're at 30% or less.

    Yea I would stick to the standard Phem-TT-VT-LS-FT-PS-Jump. That alone should be enough burst to drop any dps/caster health well below 50%. I dont mess with impulse drive combo unless its my team is gang banging someone. That way you can concentrate more with your directional combos. I personally start off with spineshatter dive. Get that initial stun. Pop your buffs and go into your combo. Weave leg sweep in between your rotation if you have to get another stun in.Works everytime.

    basically what i do lol, also, b4b is great, Heavy thrust not so much. Don't waste time HT!

    Also before I forget there is a pvp skill called impulse rush that waives positional requirements. I would look into that.

    Does anybody know where I can find the new stats for the Allagan Earrings and Allagan Spear? I'de like to update my db and rerun my numbers with the new weights from EMX ^^

    Also, EasyMode, you are saying that IDC only needs one TTT as a spacer (except when buffed) before IDC becomes the best potency combo again? That seems like a dumbing down of the rotation to me.

    Updated my xls DB [Allagan Spear, Allagan Earrings of Maiming, (let me know if there is anything else)]

    Using new stat weights from EMX:
    WP: 8.027
    Str: 1
    Det: 0.209
    Crit: 0.179
    SS: 0.158

    My script is giving me the following BiS with a total weight of 651.3 at a desired accuracy of 482.
    Weapon: Allagan
    Head: Myth
    Body: Myth
    Hands: Allagan
    Legs: Myth
    Feet: Myth
    Waist: Myth
    Necklace: Allagan Maiming
    Earring: Myth
    Bracelet: Inferno
    Ring: Allagan Striking
    Ring2: Vortex

    This gives, 224 str, 86 det, 97 crit, 93 ss, 142 acc, 180 vit and 47 wp for a total weight of 651.3 (old BiS was 618.092 using previous stat weights from before 2.1)

    Hmmm ... not exactly. It's not that "you only need one TTT to make IDC effective to use again". Another IDC is simply the best remaining option. There are a few pretty similar rotations near the top that illustrate the evolution:

    1.
    HP IDC TTT
    HP IDC TTT (repeating to more clearly indicate the comparison to the other rotations below)

    2.
    HP IDC TTT
    HP IDF TTT

    3.
    HP IDC TTT
    HP TTT TTT


    The IDC/IDF rotation was more or less the second best rotation pre-2.1. All 3 of those rotations are bound by the 20-second Heavy Thrust (and PH) cycle.

    #3 has less than 100% DE uptime. It also loses CT uptime. In 2.1, CT uptime is more relevant (30p dot ticks). This causes this rotation to slip into "meh" range. #3 was sort of an ok third-tier rotation until #2 ...

    #2 uses Fracture to avoid heavy clipping with CT while still injecting a "high potency" GCD. In 2.1 Fracture is relatively the weakest it's ever been. The direct damage on CT alone (220 DE-adjusted potency) is almost as strong as Fracture (230 DE-adjusted potency). 1 tick of CT DoT and it's better than using Fracture. So rotation #2 slips due to the CT improvements in 2.1.

    This leaves us with #1, which ironically is simply a repeated "HP IDC TTT" ... twice in a row.

    Due to the clipping changes which folks have mentioned, the CT clipping doesn't even matter much ...

    So yeah it certainly is "dumbing it down" for the simple as a result.
