backing up with target-lock is very slow, if you run backwards but at an angle it will be normal speed.

I actually rather like using lock on with legacy controls after practicing a bit today. When I run backwards to dodge, I accidentally click L3 half the time anyway, so it isn't that tough of a transition to learn to dodge while dealing with auto lock. Thanks for the advice.

Just make sure you're facing your target at all times Rysstyl. AAs are sort of on a "timer" which happen at exactly that interval shown on your weapon. So you can be looking away etc, then turn to face your foe just before your AA and you'll still hit it. If you turn around and miss an AA, that delay is held until you turn around again, thus over time, your total AA's will be decreased.

So either get used to timing your self to always face your target before you hit an AA, or learn to use Lock-On like I do.

How are you guys acquiring dps stats the way you do? Ilvl 126 here. What range dps should I be accomplishing. And what and when does the number pop up that you guys report. I see 520 in the forum up to 600 or something like that.

i126 with an i135 weapon should be netting you 600DPS minimum with Food & Party buffs. Anything less and you're doing something wrong.

Well, you should be targetting 4 minutes.

Also, you need to be using a Parser to measure DPS.

You mean we're not supposed to add all the numbers up in our heads as we go then divide it by total number of seconds at the end?
