Congrats on the spear Dervy, I saw it on your back in the Golder Saucer earlier. 3 more Mahatma's to go for me.
nvm we failed and got 0 loots again

Yep. The det/crit Longinus Zeta has now definitely replaced the Dreadwyrm Spear as the sole BiS weapon for dragoons. This is an updated non-crafted BiS listing for 535 accuracy. These are my updated, non-crafted BiS listings at all relevant levels of accuracy. I've also updated that page to emphasize Dervy's crafted sets a bit more.Did anything change about the absolute BiS Non-Crafted Set now that Longinus Zeta is out?
I'm speaking about this Set here: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/OEMD
It sounds like you're asking whether the Zeta has to be full crit/det for BiS or if it should have slightly different secondary stats (like perhaps a little accuracy to balance out the gear set). If that's what you mean, then basically, Ariyala's isn't sophisticated enough to say. Even if Ariyala's could figure this out, it might lead to awkward conclusions, like, "meld full crit/det for 505 accuracy BiS, but meld 12 points of accuracy onto your Zeta for 535 accuracy BiS." For the sake of simplicity and sanity, it's safe to assume that your Zeta should just have maximum det/crit.

set solver to solve for x accuracy where x is any number below 535, and probably lock in flint caviar so the solver doesn't go full retard. lock in aug chest/pants for faster solve speeds, since i don't think there's a single situation at 535 acc where they aren't bis. at 533 it spits out a different set, but it's worse than the current i130 bis in weights by around 0.8 str.(the one with 370 sksp). stats in comparison are (-45 crit -14 sksp, +39 det) . i like it better still, though. it's 356 sksp vs 370 sksp, so if you personally value skillspeed lower, or aren't as comfortable with playing at a higher skillspeed, having 2 acc zeta might be marginally better for you. you also still have the option of going for 9th skill bfb by statting +9 sksp to get the bare minimum of 365, saving you 5 excess sksp over current i130 bis (for me anyway). It sounds like you're asking whether the Zeta has to be full crit/det for BiS or if it should have slightly different secondary stats (like perhaps a little accuracy to balance out the gear set). if coil gear was tradeable and i got a spear, i'd trade it for a choker in an instant, even before i got my zeta. 12+ weeks and counting

Could someone post the stats of their CRT/DET Zeta? I wanna see the stat upgrades.
OP as hell. That's more than what I originally thought .-.

Here you go, confirmed 53 Crit/ 38 Det

Can anyone explain why the general conscensus is that the Flint Caviar build here : http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/PTTV is considered the new BiS with the Zeta weapon as opposed to the Black Truffle build here?: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/PTYA
The difference between the two builds is 57 CRIT vs 52 DET with only 5 unessecary accuracy on the DET build. Are people counting the VIT from the Flint Caviar as weighting the build to higher DPS? Black Truffle build puts you at over 7k HP which is more than enough for T13...
