Ifrit weapon is only 1 WD over the GC50 green.
Garuda's a big upgrade though and should push you to 155-175 on Titan.

It is definitely going to be a combination of gear and weapons, my apologies for writing as though the Ifrit weapon was all he needed. However, having an Ifrit weapon goes a long way to shutting people up.

Haha, I know what you mean. People look at green and they immediately cry. Was just posting for reference for folks trying to increase their DPS -- they're not going to notice a huge bump going from GC50 to Ifrit, although it will definitely make people cry less.
EDIT: NVM...

fun fact:
you can do skills from 3 yards away. you dont begin to auto attack until 2 yards
measured the distance and tested on a monk. (literally a tape measure on my monitor was used, zooming out till it was 3 inches between my hit box and the other one)

About the best in slot: 2 of the items (Bracelets and Boots) are from Twintania, one should redo the "BiS" without taking those 2 items into consideration.

Using the Myth Bracelet and Boots, BIS would be the other Allagan Ring and Gloves (instead of the Myth ring and Gloves) landing at 462 and 473 acc respectively, leaving the leggings as Myth.
Could anyone please make a BiS page on xivdb just like this but without turn 5 items please for the noobs like me :>

I just added yours to the guideThis is just my two cents, but you may want to make a wardrobe profile on xiv.db for the current BiS list and just update that. Here's an example of it.
Current DRG BiS Wardrobe.
I have done so, it has been added to the BiS section of the guide. However, a quick word of warning. There are a lot more mythology pieces, and the legs are quite expensive. I would recommend purchasing the Mythology gear that is common to both sets first since this would better situate you to switch to the BiS set if you do happen to start clearing Turn 5 (whenever it becomes not impossible).Could anyone please make a BiS page on xivdb just like this but without turn 5 items please for the noobs like me :>
Almost every boss is immune to slow. However, you should always try it when learning a new fight, and if they are not immune (and hit pretty hard) I would most definitely consider working it into your rotation in place of Fracture.

Ok, ok, guess what I noticed after two months (not counting beta3) of playing lancer/dragoon. We have one of the longest (if not THE longest) slow-inducing skill, being 20s at full power with our trait. And that kind of helped during Dhorme Chimera's "Ram's Voice", giving more reaction time to paladin/bard to silence it. Not mentioning the other side/rear AoE attacks. Now, what I was going to ask was (not sure if this is the right topic though): how often/when should we use that in fights?
