Confirming. Assuming you never delay GCDs, HT, Disembowel, and CT will be just fine due to the delay induced by the animation.

Clipped GDC with the second jump, that's how it lines up. It's cheating, dumb, doesn't work in raid situations due to selene and something I do not recommend doing as it gives you no gains in terms of DPS. That's my "teehee practice"

I do it so I can practice my presses and muscle memory of FT/CT & LS rotating for when I am at a lower SkillSpeed. My SS should plummet this week so I wanted to be ready for it.

Oh, you're talking about the BiS sets I calculated 2 weeks ago.

There's like a 1-2 DPS difference between the two. Pick whichever you prefer.

I just noticed that you calcuated BiS using out of date weights. Here's the two BiS sets you should be working with (doesn't include crafted gear):

BiS ilvl135 @ 535 Accuracy/T13 - Highest DPS on paper

BiS ilvl135 @ 535 Accuracy/T13 - 410 Determination
http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/OTNX

Top one is highest, theoretical DPS. Second just has 410 Determination and is only 1-2 DPS behind, on paper.

I could sworn I edited the stat weights to the new ones when I put it in. Idk how there are different results haha. Maybe I didn't.

That first set linked may be the highest dps on paper, but I wouldn't rely on HQ flint caviar unless you can either make it yourself or have a lot of gil to burn on food. It's a 4 star recipe so it takes a bit of crafting knowledge to HQ reliably.

And the second set linked actually has 540 acc, so if you substitute dreadwyrm belt with Kirimu Belt of Maiming penta melded with Det IV, Det IV, SS IV, SS IV, Acc III, it would have a higher stat weight.

That being said, I'm a fresh 50 and was wondering what would be the best thing for me to focus on in upgrading my gear. Hunts, hard mode dungeons, etc?

Hunts and HM Dungeons to get Soldiery gear and make sure to cap your weekly Poetics.

Also don't forget about Scyrus' Tower. A very farmable place to quickly gear to i100, as well as getting the items necessary to upgrade Solds gear to i110 and get your i110 weapon.

i'm too lazy to test it but do dots and disembowel fall off if we use the set with +0 skillspeed?

@ Ricky. Phlebotomize should fall off for a second before re-application at such low skillspeed. Disembowl and Chaos Thrust shouldn't, unless you've delayed your GDCs by overlapping oGDCs, or due to AOE mechanics.

Downed T13 today, finally and throughout the Final Coil, I got only 1 piece of loot. Dreadwyrm Necklace, not feeling so lucky. I had the same situation in Second Coil took months to see any loot... How is your loot luck other Dragoons?

Been clearing T10/11 since week 1, T12 since week 3, and T13 for three weeks (not including this week).

I've only seen helm and choker from week 1, and pants from last week. That's with me monopolizing STR accs.

My luck has changed 10-13 one shot, 12 got earring, got twine to upgrade legs and then got legs and spear from 13 !!
