Just cleared T11 for the first time last night, did 450DPS as DRG while casting a LB3 and a LB2, will look to push to 475+ next week.

Using the target lock is gimpy, though I understand if your used to using it. There is no difference (in damage) using standard controls and you can actually move the camera angle and you don't have to mess with clicking in and out constantly. You don't sacrifice mobility hardly at all, certainly not anymore than by target-locking. Give it an honest try and I doubt anyone would go back to target locking, I certainly won't.So because it doesn't work for you, you don't recommend it to anyone? Lol
It's hands down the biggest dps increase I ever gained, just by incorporating target lock. You only need to use it when you move to hit your positionals, then disable it until you need to re apply ID and HT. Normal camera works if you're willing to sacrifice your mobility behind you, which is something I can't do.
Not quite as far as some of the folks here, but currently parsing over 400 dps in every encounter up through t12
and this:
Yes, it's easy to change the controls back and forth, I only change them on drg and mnk when going into instances, then back to legacy for running around (or other classes)

bit of a daft question...
does anyone know how to click off B4B using a control pad? PS4 player here. I could use the touch pad in the middle of the controller but that's a bit cumbersome and not quite as quick as I expect I would need to be if i need to move, still do deeps and click off B4B during the cast of a massive AOE.
I don't main dragoon anymore since ninja came out but I still wanna stay good at dragoon so I was wonder if at i107 with liberator, i90 crafted belt, ramuh ring and soldiery gear(thanks second coil RNG >.>) if 415 - 420dps was a good dummy parse

You're 15-20 DPS higher than my i107 DRG w/ Liberator and i90 chest. So, yeah, you're aight.

That's the only way unless you have another mouse. I turned the touch-pad/mouse option off, as I have a wireless keyboard with touchpad built-in if needed.bit of a daft question...

The only way is to either 1. Use mouse. 2. Spam the touchpad button to get to it quickly, and click it off from there. I dont think there is any other ways to do it.bit of a daft question...
