Which is better to use all of your buffs nearly instantly as they are up or saving blood for blood , life surg, power surge and jump all together to get high burst from full thrust and other skills?

Most situations you use your oGCDs on CD. Meaning, you don't hold them at all (the one exception is Life Surge...unless something happens to prevent you from using it on a BFB FT, always use it while BFB is up on FT) This includes Power Surge/Jump; always use Jump when it comes back, Power Surge to Jump (or Spineshatter if that's the way your CDs happen to fall) when you can...and obviously hold PS if you don't have Jump or SSD ready to go...

The burst is way higher and the rotation is exactly the same other than that, everything is alligned normally.

Takin all the mines on the right side for example, including the far away one. Theres nothing worse for dps to drop as a melee and you know it so unless you find a magical way to keep everything up when you got to do mines + disposin of your auto attacks I don't really see a way to maintain dps. On top its just totally random. You also only saw one parse When I got to take 2 mines one after the other I'm just droppin, on dummy I'm around 460 without food or pot or party buff at the accuracy cap for T8 and 9 over 5 minutes so believe me, its not because I'm not capable to maintain it that I'm a bit low

I prefer turn 6 to compare dps because you can use absolutely everything as a dragoon (quite the fan of doomspike on hornet + bulb + rafflesia after usin on the hornet), just need to have the same downtime (same numbers of devours total)

During BfB. They are like at least 4 different ways to toy with the rotation. And ok, you don't need to refresh HT when bfb is up while you re in the opening sequence, just keep goin

I seen a turn 6 parse of yours, you was around 400. I trumpt that by alot and i dont do any shady let me spam doom spike lmao. Also, ido all mines on right sideas well and i set the allagon field tower off. Also 2nd priorty for binds (not that big of deal) and im backup tether as well.(also not a big deal). So please try again. Im not here to feed into your troll. Im just stating facts, lets also point out that you have roughly 25 more point of str then me. Dont try to acy like you know some massive dps secert and dont want drgs to know about it. Till your numbers show it your sercert is worthless. Like i stated before 1 move / buff inserted into blood for blood duration is not going do nothing for you in the long wrong.

And I'm not sayin in the long run, I'm all about the opening, and then its the normal rotation, nothing more, nothing less. As I've already said you just need to go on and do something more when HT drop while BfB is up (you should have like 6 seconds left). Depending on when you use bfb it can be that double ID (that work), or more than that.

Now I think I'll just stop because the level of rage is so damn high around here there's no need to go further

Yeah its shady to AoE when you can have 3 targets at disposal, why don't you ask your blm / summoner to not use bane - flare I mean they should be ashamed aswell

Honestly Syg this is what you should have said from the beginning... You found a more potent "burst" rotation. The problem is, if you're using it as an "opening" rotation your probably sacrificing buffed dots and more overall dps, for a short initial opening burst. In certain situations, I could see that "burst" being effective, like during a T9 golem or dragon phase.

Thing is I really don't use the initial rotation posted on this forum because there is better in term of potency / burst damage, I can break 600+ dps easily with a xpot. Otherwise after that initial rotation I just follow the IDC - P - TTT road that everyone is doin I guess, just makin sure that every single thing that have to be got at least 1 dot on top of the initial target.
