There's no question what the best 1st purchase would be: weathered liberator. Then, hunt for an oil to make it ilvl110. Of course you'll need an unidentified allagan tome from ST or t7 as well before you can buy it. I can't stress enough how big of an upgrade the weapon is.

Assuming you're gonna get the weapon with your next soldiery purchase (DO IT!), you'll probably want to get the ST body + legs for the accuracy. The ST belt is also really good, and the head can be once you have enough accuracy elsewhere. The only reason I leave out the ST hands and feet is because you'll want the soldiery hands and probably the feet.

That's not the only way to do it, but it's how I would do it if I was starting fresh at i90 currently. Soldiery purchases: weapon, hands, then feet. ST tome, body, legs in any order, then belt. THEN work on the rest of your accessories, then whatever else you want.

You will want to save your Soldiery for Liberator, get a Tomestone from ST or T7 and farm a Sand so you can upgrade it right away when you have enough credits. Upgrade your Gloam Ring and try to get a Wave Harpoon/Thunderbolt, depending on what's avaliable to you/how much accuracy you need etc, until you can get Liberator. ST body/pants are strong, assuming it will take 1-3 weeks to get enough Soldiery for Liberator you can go for the ST pieces now so you can get out of the Myth gear and have something to work with. Just make sure to have the Tomestone when you have enough credits.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, I went that path with my warrior and fell in love with my conqueror, also half way to having enough seals for another sands. I really just wasn't sure how those changes would effect me, reading here though it seems like that extra 52 det and 21 str would do amazing things for my dps, for some reason I just had it stuck in my head that that the high crit was really good and I wouldn't be able to keep accuracy with those pieces but I can see I was wrong lol

Is the Liberator really good then? I have not looked at the stats yet. I know my weathered blm weapon is pretty sweet

General Rule of thumb for weapons is, if it has higher item level, it's better because of weapon damage.
You should only think about the secondary stats of your weapon if you have two of the same item level.

1 weapon damage is equivalent to 8 str, and Liberator is more than enough for farming t9

Finally after 4+ months my final atma pieces have dropped all in one day, figures
So i went with the atma Gae Bolg and currently on book #3, still wondering if i should have just got the Liberator, lol.
Also this week debating if i should get the ST boots? I am saving up my soldiery to get the weathered piece atm
I have weathered gloam ring, St belt, allagan earrings and bracelet, all the rest is the myth gear

The pieces that are worth getting from ST are the Head, Chest, Belt and Legs.

The WA sabatons are your best bet for this week, coupled Guardian chest/breeches from ST and Moogle ribbon, will definitely give you an accuracy boost and allow you to switch to Allagan spear until you get your Animus.
It would also probably be in your best interest to farm for Allagan gauntlets T2, and Allagan trousers T1 (Both acc + det).
At that point, I would probably switch Allagan visor/Guardian Helm. I would also consider farming for a gorgeous Ramuh ring.

Hi guys. Just got my Animus last night and am about to start the Novus grind. Is there a specific build that you would recommend?

My current gear is:

Head: Guardian's Helm of Maiming (thinking of going back to Wyrm's Armet)
Chest: Wyrm's Mail
Hands: Astrum Armguards (i110)
Belt: Hero's Belt of Maiming (I have the weathered belt but don't like it)
Legs: Astrum Hose (i110)
Feet: Astrum Sabatons (i110)

Neck: Hero's Necklace of Slaying
Ears: Gloam Earrings (i110)
Wrists: Gloam Wristlets (i110)
Ring 1: Gloam Ring (i110)
Ring 2: Vortex Ring of Slaying

My key stats are:

Str: 542
Acc: 489
Crit: 534
Det: 279
Skill Speed: 386

The gear I am hoping to get soon would be the ST chest piece and Moogle necklace from Thornmarch Ex. So with that in mind is there a specific build you my recommend in regards to my gear and what stats would be best for my Novus?
