A lot of people rag on DRGs as being the "lol melee" class that all the baddies flock to.. while I'm not here to argue for or against this statement, I do not see any other class which has a vault of information for there class such as we have for DRG.

At above for a boss opening, yes I use all of it for burst rotation, but no I dint wait to use for b4b to b up to use other moves such as ls and FT.

I'd like to come out and say how thankful I am to the people who made this thread and to the rest who continue to help newbies be better dragoons. I use to main WHM because back then my drg skills we're horrible, and after countless help from this thread, I'm about to clear T9 as the DRG I wanted to be (we wiped to 1% yesterday lmao), and hopefully our static will clear today. So again thank you everyone, I never would have dreamed to be clear coil as a DRG, but this made it possible. Happy 300 pages!

So I only average 330 to 340 DPS on turn 8 whilst grabbing homing missles and standing in the middle for brain jacked, is this a fair number or should I be doing more @ iLVL 97 with the Animus?

That should be enough to get you through your first kill as long as everyone else in the group is around 300 dps and you maybe get the sch to dps some.
With similar gear but using the tidal wave spear instead of animus I think back was averaging 350-360 around our first kill but that was doing towers/left side mines and being 1st priority for ballistic missile.

You should probably decide with your raid leader to swap with the bard in the group if you have one or even smn maybe to do brainjack/homing missile so that you are always DPSing and not missing positionals whilst brainjacked etc.
