Save your jumps for chariot. After he jumps the first time, I spineshatter, do 1 gcd, run out for chariot, run back in and do 1 gcd, stack with group and then dragonfire back to the boss. Spineshatter will be up for the second jump and then you just elusive jump back to the boss.
We got the lowest magic defense so don't get cocky about megaflare. I had 6k hp+, and there was a golem up and so I was like, hmm, people are surviving with 4.5khp, I don't need sacred soil! I can help dps the golem! Nope, oneshot.
When you're stacking for dynamo+thunder and fire, just 123 and forget positioning for ht and disembowel for now. It takes a while to get the timing right, and it's better to lose a bit of dps than die because you weren't stacked properly.
So, in short, no.
Do your full burst rotation on Nael and wait for the first Meteor to drop down. When you see the explosion you're normally on the point to have to refresh Phlebo : just do it, then watch where Nael is gonna jump and just elusive back to her, impulse drive, run back from the aoe, disembowell, and do chaos thrust while runnin up to the tank. Then you just refresh HT and do your shit, normally at dynamo you should be on the point where you have to refresh disembowell (dont do it tho it wont be counted) + havin IR up, so just wait for Nael to fly away, use ir and when she ravendive on the tank unleash hell again.
Dragoon is pretty funky in Turn 9, but not to the point that you gotta save 2 jumps o.o
I mean, you're basically delaying spineshatter and dfd for like 30 seconds in the beginning and then spineshatter comes up about like 20 seconds before he jumps. I'm not even sure if you're getting an extra usage of either skill while I don't think I can run back in time immediately after it lands on my tank.
I checked my times and I won't get extra usage of either skills before phase changes.

Oh I do get an extra usage of SSD when shes doin the second jump before the 2nd Thermionic, thats usually when we push the phase (skippin beak and next meteor)I mean, you're basically delaying spineshatter and dfd for like 30 seconds in the beginning and then spineshatter comes up about like 20 seconds before he jumps. So I finally got liberator, an upgrade from my animus, right before this week's T8 and after shuffling my accs around to meet the acc requirement, I have a whopping 476 skill speed. I think I went from something like 2.45 to 2.37 gcd. I didnt T8 as drg last week and I've been going to the dungeons as a tank or blm so needless to say, I fumbled with my rotations and missed a lot positionals (for some reason the avatar likes to turn 45 degrees alot during brainjack). I ended up with around 325 (5th out of 5 dps) even if it was a one shot..I don't really know my previous numbers with an animus because I had to tank it the week I got my animus (don't really remember seeing the avatar spin on its feed when I tanked it either). Anyway, after T8 and T9 practice, I went to dummy test and got myself a 370 on a dummy over 3 mins twice. That's with my chocobo out for the pt str bonus. Should I be higher? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I did the standard rotation plus using up all the ngcd as it comes. My gear is all i90 except liberator, HA head, gloves, legs and feet (0 soldiery item) averaging to i99.
Then, during T9, we have 4 dps and I managed to not fall so far behind. Basically the monk is in the lead with 30 points lead and drg (me) and smn and brd about equal with each other with only single digit differences as 1st phase ends (320,290,290,290). They're all averaging i105 and above btw. The thing is, I drop HARD after this. The party assigned the golems like this: OT and monk green, MT on red, the rest on blue. Blue is supposed to die first and then the OT golem gets focus fired and we finish MT's golem. I can get a heavy thrust in on blue golem but I can't get disembowel in most of the time. If I get lucky, I get to do my full starting rotation because someone aggrod the blue golem hard (usually whm) and then we kill the blue golem and proceed to the next set...where we wipe because of meteor screw ups (I've been lucky enough to not get targeted here I guess). Then we get to the 2nd set of golems, it's all a gamble again on whether I get to do a rotation or having to face tank it. We would wipe because of the golems not dying fast enough and someone would mention something about not enough dps and naturally I feel like I'm getting invisible stares because I know my dps dropped by a massive chunk during 2nd phase. I tried holding off on attacking blue golems in hopes of either the whm or brd or smn getting hate first so I can get 2 gcds in of positionals but then sometimes the golem went crazy and went to the other golems and we wipe. What's to be done here?
Also, is it generally normal to have to reset my rotation after thermionic beams (all buffs and debuffs are almost out)? I feel like I'm constantly running into a speed bump whenever T9 boss does that. I have 280+ latency and me dodging circle blade isn't a guaranteed thing. I dont have the confidence to chase jump after T9 boss, get a hit, run out of the aoe, get another hit in during thermionic beam and them follow the boss back to the tank so I just wait for the aoe, get phlebotomize in and SSD or run back to the tank.
Anyway, any confident DRGs on hyperion I can talk to in game and help me improve?
