VladSanguinus here is what I suggest:

Swap out the striking wrist for the T5 maiming wrist, swap the slaying ring for the T4 maiming ring, swap the slaying choker for the mog choker, and swap the wyrms head piece for the T4 visor. It will give you 3 more str, 5 more crit, and 20 more det. Plus having that extra det will get you closer to max cap on buttons.

well i just got the weathered liberator today, and i saw some difference in my dps, but im trying to run t4 for the helm and did 2-3 runs in t5, no luck. ill see what i can do about a couple mog runs, thanks for the advice!

hey, fellow Drg here, just asking for some advice(omg, really?). I've been getting a lot of flak from my static on the amount of dps I've been doing in 2nd coil, ...

I play both, dragoon is currently sitting at i98 with only right side upgraded to the new gears/drops and wave weapon while my main is a monk is currently at i102 with weathered weapon. I currently parsed about 290DPS for t6, 300 for T7 and for T8 currently my monk out parses my dragoon by alot. Monk 420, Dragoon probably around 330-340.

What kind of built are you doing for your dragoon. Ever since i changed to a determination build for my monk, my numbers just shoot through the roof. I tried the same with dragoon, i only see a slight increase but that could be because i did not upgrade any weathered gears for my dragoon except for the boots drop from coil.

When playing on a dragoon, besides keeping HT and Dis up, i also keep Plebo up once its about to fall off. It increases my dps by abit but still couldn't parse as good as my monk could. This could probably be that im stacking the wrong built for my dragoon and should go for Crit instead. Im not sure. :\

In general, no, don't save them. If there are specific mechanics where something needs to be burst down quickly, then you typically will want to save them for that burst phase. Of course, you want to try to use Life Surge with either Full Thrust or Jump (highest potency attacks) while under B4B.

Internal Release I always use on CD. B4B I typically use on CD, unless the aforementioned burst phase is looming, or there is a mechanic where you expect to take large incoming damage (obviously you don't want to commit suicide with B4B). Use Life Surge with either Jump or Full Thrust, preferably while under B4B.

New questions for you vets, what's a good dummy parse for a DRG at i96 with i95 Allagan Spear? I'm pushing about 360 -370 now. Is that acceptable for what I'm working with? Also does weapon damage stat heavily outweigh str as far as dps goes? I'm working on my animus and by the time I finish my 3rd book my atma will have 37 str compared to 34 on the allagan spear. However of course since it's still atma the physical damage is still 46 compared to allagan's 47. Will 1 physical damage on allagan be better than 3 more str on my atma?

that's about right I think. I remember doing 350 with i90 and allagan spear. 1 weapondamage is equal to 8.732 str.
