was honestly getting the Pot off right after ID, and it would last just till I could get off FT. Mega pot was pushing a buffed FT to around 1600-1680, have not tried it yet with the X Str pot.
Just wanted to confirm the effectiveness with DoTs. Thanks again
You can do it after the ID as wellThat's a DPS increase, but it means you'll be stacking 2 buffs together.
So I never got my drop for the T5 boots so I decided to craft the i90 boots and over meld them. From the stat weightings, it looks like they they may be better than the high allagan or the upgraded soldiery. The stats on the crafted overmelded boots are: str 18, vit 20, det 15, acc 18, crit 21, and ss 15. Even though the high allagan and soldiery have more str, I think these are a better balanced approach... Am I crazy?

yes you are. in this game iLVL or you Main stat is infinitely better then anything else. 6 str is equivalent to 50 of other stats, without taking in account of weapon damage scaling.So I never got my drop for the T5 boots so I decided to craft the i90 boots and over meld them. this is what our DRG melds if you interested, it is about a 30~ DPS increase on T8 compared to standard "bis" i90.
Nightreach, I thought that this was the stat weightings are from the first page of this thread...
Weapon Damage: 8.732
Strength: 1
Determination: .325
Crit: 0.204
Skill Speed: .178
So 6 str = 18 det = 29 crit = 33 SS
The melded i90 crafted boots math works out to be:
Str 18 x 1 = 18
Det 15 x .325 = 4.875
Crit 21 x .204 = 4.284
SS 15 x .178 = 2.67
Total = 29.829 (with 18 Acc)
The Astrum Sabatons are:
Str 24 x 1 = 24
Det 12 x .325 = 3.9
Crit 0 x .204 = 0
SS 0 x .178 = 0
Total = 27.9 (with 25 Acc)
The Hgh Allagan are:
Str 24 x 1 = 24
Det 18 x .325 = 5.85
Crit 0 x .204 = 0
SS 18 x .178 = 3.20
Total = 33.05 (with 0 Acc)
The high allagan are clearly strongest, but the lack of acc and the unnecessary SS would have me leaning towards the crafted piece. Some one please correct if I am calculating this wrong so then I can go shoot myself.

Slightly off the above topics, but anyone have a screen shot of the Liberator?
Edit : Thanks, FantasyForever. Very nice looking spear.

weathered version just does not have the glow to it.
Hit Enrage in Turn 7...everyone died, including the boss. Got a screenshot as proof lol
Healer Robes and Bracelets dropped.
My group has me getting the Tomestone next week (not this week coming up, the next one, so third in the group) since I can't buy my weapon for two weeks anyway, but our MNK and SMN can this coming week (BRD is last) Tanks got the Oil since healer got lucky.
So yay, onto Turn 8. Having fun trying to optimize my gear for it with what I have (can't rely on more Coil2 drops after all). Just need my Allagan Boots for the set I think is best, but the stupid dragon won't give them up...
