The biggest main stat increases always come in the form of chest & legs, so if it comes at the same price (1 item per week), you may as well get those. Lots of the gear gives fantastic stats, though. I still use my onion belt when I don't need the accuracy from my ilvl90 one, and I'm going to start doing the same with onion boots. Both belt & feet have CRT & DET, they're awesome.

I guess if you were starting from scratch, I'd say Legs > Chest > Belt/Feet > Hands.

I'd also say it depends on Myth too. If you intend to buy Myth gear, Myth Chest is priority, then feet, then helm, then gauntlets, then Belt and Legs. So I would get Onion legs first, then belt, then gauntlets, then helm, then feet, and finally body (opposite of Myth buying really, to lessen overlap)...but that does assume you are buying Myth gear and running Coil for DRG.

If you're just CT gearing DRG (no Myth or Coil), then yeah, chest/legs, then head/gloves/feet, then belt.

EDIT: also, buying Myth armor assumes you already +1'd your Spear...that is #1 no questions...

Just got zenith this morning. I am scared to get over lapped with wrym and onion or allagan. I have all DL on except onion waist from last week. I have no experience with turn 1 at all. Item lvl is 73 now. I need someone to draw me a map lol, I am on vacation this week only and want to maximize my time home. I am already capped in philos and only have 76 myths today but currently at 250/450 this week! What piece should I look for in CT and also this turn 1 trial? Am I good enough to farm turn 1 for drops? Please help

The Wyrm's chest is BiS for many accuracy levels pre-T5 so I would shy away from going for that first. By week 4 you should have gotten your Zenith Weapon and Wyrm's chest. I would work on the other pieces. Allagan Legs come from T1 in Coil, which is stupid easy to do with a semi-competent group so I would shoot for those if you can get in a group each week and work on Onion feet, belt, hands and hat in no particular order.

Doesn't the Wolf Chest only give 24 DET, and nothing else, not to mention the grinding to get to rank 30, and grinding to get enough marks? Which is the same DET as Myth chest, but the Myth chest also gives Crit...

Turn 1-2 are trivial. I remember doing it with the relic+1 weapon and full AK gear.

Just make sure you're actually executing DPS well. Beyond that just learn the mechanics and ... execute. Find some learning group in PF or through an LS, or make one yourself.

+1 try to knock out Turn 1 & 2 for a chance at some sweet, sweet drops. Then base your myth spending around what you get/don't get from Coil. Theeeeeen base your onion junk on what you still need.

Don't fret over gear too much, man. Just increase your ilvl where you can, worry about omgzperfectgear once you have so much that you can afford to. I got my ass handed to me by a taru DRG the other day, and I know his gear's overall stat weight was inferior to mine. Player skill comes first.
