Another troll thread.

Legacy Members who bought Collector's Edition 1.0 and whose character names start with C should have priority over other people because reasons.
"We're all different. But there's something kind of fantastic about that isn't there?"
"I'm tired of being polite about something that matters so much" ~ Joss Whedon
"The person who says that the only way to please them is to restrict options for others is, if you ask me, the onewho deserves it least." ~ David Gaider
"Sorry for the inconvenience, we're trying to change the world." ~ The Protester

People who subscribe for 180 days should have priority over all.

You played 1.0, cool. Doesn't really mean you deserve log in priority, though.
SE already gave Legacy players a lot of neat things and, at this point, everyone should be treated as simply "players." Continuing to separate out the community is rather counter-intuitive, and would only breed animosity and discontent amongst the new players and the Legacy players (and watch as the drama unfolds in shout chat, or on the forums). But either way, I paid and you paid for the same game so we should both have an equal chance to play it (hint: we do), regardless of which server we went on.
They're already making an attempt to fix the situation with a few different fixes, so why not wait like all the other players for those fixes, rather than institute a system that shuts out new players? (Which I highly, highly doubt would be healthy for the game).

Nah dude, bad plan. Legacy already has enough stuff to make the people who didn't bother paying up at the proper time hate us. Saw enough hate for it on the beta forums, no thanks. :/
Tell me what "cool" things I got apart from a legacy Chocobo that's a bit burnt round the edges. You played 1.0, cool. Doesn't really mean you deserve log in priority, though.

As a legacy player i dont really agree!
I think SE just needs to fix the issue at hand and let everyone play...
This is an MMORPG for god's sake, its suppose to let people play, and it just launched lol... Im tired of posting here because i cannot log in
let them fix the issue, dont sacrifice anything for their incompetency of not foreseeing this as a variable prior to launch

I am legacy and I say, NO.
I did play the game because I liked it, I got some bonus out of it, cool, unexpected and I am grateful for it. I did buy C.E. 1.0 and I did buy C.E. 2.0, and again because I like the game, do not mean Yoshi have to personally visit me and shake my hand.
There is enough division in the community without further encouragement. I am hoping MMO hoppers disappear after the first month so we can start build a sane community, we really don't need further divisions. I'll endure my 1017 as the next guy and a month from here we'll be laughing and making jokes about it.

As a legacy player myself, I want to say I'm for this out of selfishness, but I think we've already got enough perks. I don't see why we should get special treatment for this instance.. Hell the argument could be made the other way, "We've already played, let someone else have a go" lol
