When Wednesday Come No 1017 error...Right?

Wednesday cant get here any quicker but i'm still worried about wednesday. If people see the 1017 error SE is goin to feel a wrath like no other and the blogs are going to be so bad and disrespectful they going to think they killed somebody. I hope this fix the stability problem but i feel like there is so many other problems that are being overlooked that we will be back to square one.

They said they are adding more worlds, but no where did they say they would fix the current problems. New worlds only help new characters unless they split the current worlds.

A small portion of the players that haven't advanced very far in the game might say, "**** it" and roll to one of the new worlds, which very likely won't have that error, but the vast majority aren't going to switch worlds, and the problem will continue until there is a server cap increase, or free transfers. (The latter will happen, but not right away I think.)

I wouldn't hold my breath. I fear S-E thinks the solution is just to encourage people to make characters on the new servers.

You also forget they have a very strict login restriction currently because letting in more people will kill the duty finder server making the game essentially unplayable for all of us (you remember day 1 of early access before they added this right?).

With the changes to the duty finder server they are making and adding additional worlds this should fix everything, but they have also said they will limit the logins somewhat right after and monitor things closely so it might take a day or two of minor server side adjustments before everything to fully release eliminating the issues. Either way, it should be better on Wednesday when all the AFK players get removed (at least till they log back in and AFK again), and with the additions they give us.

Honestly...... there is no incentive to move to the new servers. Even if there was, problem will still probably persist.

I expect another 2 weeks before everything is smooth.

Remember. they are not increasing the amount of players that can log in to each server.

5,000 per server. lets say 2 servers are put in. Do you think 10,000 people can't log in right now? yea.... way more than that.
