Off topic, but technically if you didn't buy the collectors or the music album etc he did pay more than you. Not saying people who pay more should get priority, just saying that it's a possibility.

On topic, I normally have a hard time logging in but instead of spamming 0 I just exit, come back every five minutes, try once, and get in. I called it luck at first, but it's happened just fine over seven times now. For the record though, I do log out every time for other people to play, regardless if I have a hard time coming back in.

Not really. You paid for that game unbeknownst that it would be remade, or that there would be any bonuses given to you. Hence you paid for FFXIV, not FFXIV ARR.
