Well think of this this way. Computers are not built to run 24 hours on a day. Those people who refuse to log out and leave their computer on 24/7 are causing long term damage to their own computer.

I'm torn actually. Is it selfish to stay logged in because you know you'll have little chance of getting back on when u log out? Yes, possibly. However, I do understand it. Everyone wants to play during their free time period (and alot will stick with the game after the trial ends). And as much as I agree with "Everyone should get the chance to play, so log out!", I also agree with people that stay logged in, and with their reasons for doing so. Guess you can say I'm neutral :3

If I wasn't careful with leaving my PC on for too long I might have been one of those ppl that decides to not log out during the night... But I wouldn't do it often, and not for long, either. I don't want my PC to overheat :P The longest time I've ever generally left my comp on without switching it off is 2 days :P

Haha, why? Those players don't have to justify anything to you; what the hell are you going to do about it, create angry threads about them?

They don't log out and get to enjoy the game they paid for, while you're here on the forums seeking validation for your actions. I, on a slightly related note, log out because I don't like my PC working hard overnight.

People are staying logged in while AFK so they don't run the risk of not being able to get back in later. This is extremely selfish behaviour. People like this are the reason parts of the world are in such distress, they dont' care one whit for anyone besides themselves. You know who you are and you should feel ashamed, because you likely behave this way in other, more important aspects of your life as well (these are the same people who tailgate you in traffic).

Have some honour and integrity (this would involve doing the right thing, even if nobody is watching). I've been logged in twice in the past two days, and I leave when I'm finished because I understand there are others who would like to play as well.

Those of you who agree, let's hear it. Those who don't, maybe a little introspection is in order hmm?

1.) Square Enix! Please restart the servers so players who are AFKing to stay logged in can let the rest of us on the servers!

2.) Why can't I start new threads? It says my character is too low or my daily limit is reached but neither of those are true. I never post and my character is level 30........

I see "Main Class ARCHER Lv 22" on your profile, so... I guess you have to update your main class.

OT, I do understand people leaving their characters logged in.
On a side note, nobody is going to change their behaviour because of people yelling "SELFISH" at them. Talking about a game, it doesn't work that way.

PS. Today I can't even get to the Character Selection screen. START is grayed out and then comes the "lobby error" pop-up. NA's Labor Day is laughing at me.
