I do remember reading that Yoshi-P would close down this game before it goes Free to play. He wouldn't allow it to get that bad.
How about we forget about metacritics skewed review score by idiot whiners who give it a 0 cause they cant login. And instead read what someone else has to say about the game who basically tests every mmo that comes out. http://steparu.com/reviews/mmo-rpg-r...reborn-reviews

One of the reviews gave "poor early access events" as part of the reason for a 0. Really? Sigh those are EXTRA and not even mandatory. People just like to complain
Your thread title makes my eyes bleed. Can you please correct it?
2c: who cares about metacritic.
ANYONE that fully relies on subjective and personal opinion from other people like reviewsites .. should stay away anyway. Ive seen the worst morons be reviewers at big review sites and metacritic is filled with people who wanna-be the next moron reviewer hat everyone hates, so its to be expected.
They're destroying Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn!? D: I hadn't noticed. When I'm able to log in the game seems just fine to me... Are you saying they're the ones responsible for Error 1017? The scoundrels! D:
"Ul'dah can keep their dusty markets, and their streets paved in silver and gold.
Limsa Lominsa keep your pirates, and your ships covered in musty mold.
My loyalty lies with Gridania, with the Moogles and the tree spirits of old." -The Forky Conjurer
I have to ask. How many servers did 11 have at the height of its glory?
Ha, I always thought a 7.3 on metacritic was perfectly acceptable. Besides the two actual critic reviews are 80 and 86 respectively. ARR is clearly not a 10/10 game anyway, even without the server issues. But that's fine because an MMO generally improves over time as the devs balance the gameplay and bring out new content (at least for a good while).
I can't believe there are people saying that it's not fair to rate an MMO a low score just because you can't connect.
That would be one of the BIGGEST reasons to knock a purely online game.
Anyway, it's Metacritic. Everything tends to get thrashed on Metacritic.
