Yeah, people voting 0 due to login issues are pretty...special. "Waaah I want to play this game but I can't 0/10 even though it's a good game that I want to play I'll give 10/10 when I can play."

Folks are able to update their ratings - right now the frustration level is leading many to overreact and use extremely low ratings as a way of lashing out at SE - hopefully when the situation improves they'll comeback and boost their numbers. Personally I think they're entitled to their frustration, SE dropped the ball(again) - more longer duration testing in beta and specific server stress test events would have eliminated at least some of what is being experienced. The draconian server caps they're using are doing themselves more harm than good in the short term.

That said 7.3 is quite the good rating for that site for games that are not 'hit it out of the park' successes. And the sheer number of positive ratings far exceed the negative ratings for ARR.

For bad game ratings as others have said look at Diablo 3 or look at Mass Effect 3 and Simcity!

Honestly, it is a good mmo, but they will reap what they sow with the over all picture. they should of thought ahead and had resources pre set up. this lack of being prepared for a successful launch of ARR is complete B.S., I mean really having to shut off digital sales, character creation, inability to even play is complete garbage in my opinion. I mean were they seriously pushing for a best mmo or just a mmo with the number to redeem the dollar back over time from consumer study? if there was a consumer study they should of been better prepared and in stead of fighting the flood at the gates. this fiasco will hurt them and their mmo's score and I feel its just. I cant log in so I think it doesn't deserve praise till the fundamental mechanics of any mmo are met. thus the network and proper infrastructure.

It's nice to see a non free game on top 1. I don't remember when I saw it. Maybe on Ultima Online launch.
Also FF:ARR is growing in Twitch.tv too.

I think we can say, a lot of people want to play, want to test or want to see the game. Something are very attractive. And I think is what the people who are playing are saying: The game is AWESOME!

The guy from Massively also said the game is one of the best he ever played.

The way I see it, if server issues are the biggest concern and cause for a reviewer to give it a bad score, that's just ignorance. Means the game is good, just difficulty playing it. If this sucked, a la 1.0, no one would give two craps if the servers worked or not.

There are very little complaints about the fundamentals of the game itself, and that is a good sign.
