Try shutting off hyperthreading. Its notorious for screwing with games since it first came out years ago.Would you like my original SpeedFan file? Or take a Dell system and go into the BIOS to turn off the Intel TurboBoost mode, and observe the effect for yourselfPoint is, I reduced the heat, rolled back the graphics drivers to the suggested ones, and am still having this problem. (The AppCrash file from the crashes that were "recoverable" is also available, but those don't bother me as much as the ones that can't be alt-tabbed/alt-ctrl-del.) Is anybody else having problems with the software simply crashing out? Is anybody else running a similar system configuration and NOT having problems with the software crashing out?
Had to shut it off on my 16 core xeon system with 1.0. It really didn't like 32 cores.
Google canirunit. goto systemrequirementslab and see what it rates your pc at for this game. I am in no way saying your pc sucks, but this may give you some info on a needed area in your pc.
It may be your video card, unless they make recommended ones that still only have a 3.0 shader.
Oh good; 5 minutes into it with the new patch, the 314.22 drivers caused BSOD :P Back to factory default latest driver settings and error testing again! I never did get to see if removing hyperthreading would make it stable with the previous release.
