World full BEFORE Character selection

anyone els got this problem?

when i click "Start" i get World Full even before i pick a server to play on.
also had some Random lobby connection errors

Just a sure sign that the error message is utter bollocks, the way I see it. /kudos

yup. lobby error and the button START greys out. 1 st servers get grayed out and then lobby error 2002 error then now they greyed out start. what next? they auto delete ur ffxiv desktop icon? yay yoshi pe punde. I love this game. WHAT FUCKING GAME?
And since 26.8.2013 till 4.9.2013 is 10 days. You giving only 7 days to compensate? What u throwing dog biscuits to us now? REIMBURSE THE FULL DAYS UNPLAYABLE TILL SERVERS FIX NOTHING LESS U CHEAP ARSE HATS. And before the trolling starts let me start it off....Let the sweet butthurt fanboys roll all over !!!

I've been getting this too, though the error messages vary. In my humble opinion it is just best to wait to play until after the data center updates. Though they could potentially bring a myriad of new issues, hopefully they will at least be able to house the current player base.

There seem to be quite a few new errors coming up -

Start button stays grey forever
Intermittent 2002 "Lobby Sever Connection Problem"
Intermittent 'Failure to obtain Server List'
Character simply never appears without any error message
In the queue which counts down a couple times then booted with a 'World is full..' popup
and now being booted with 'World is full..' popup before your character shows up

Likely it's all tied to the inability of the server code to handle the number of incoming requests causing the client to timeout and malfunction at various points along the way. Until SE gets their act together to increase capacity, remove bottlenecks and streamline the code we'll keep seeing these types of connection failures.
