Has worlds been taken down early?

I see there's gonna be a game-wide maintenance in a couple of days, and good! But now when i log in there're no NA/EU worlds...The lodestone states them all as online, but when i login in i get "Unable to update the NA/EU character group"...

While servers are overloaded in their current form which people need to hammer them to login, you find problems with the launcher connecting (very rare), with the lobby server, with servers being pinged by your client for availability and lastly the dreaded server full error.

Ye, I'm nowhere near getting the "server full" problems...The launcher is working fine, then i got to the "blacked out start button", solved that, now i can only play on japanese servers...which i don't really wanna do... is there a solution for this? Patience, rebooting network, reinstalling?

The solution for this is just patience. Eventually, you'll be able to fight the 1017 boss again.

2 full days of this so far...gonna check tonight to see what happens...

I'll just wait to play until after maintenance (though much later in the evening since there will most likely be problems after maintenance is done).
