PS3 Unable to set Hotbar items

I am unable to set ANY hotbar positions to anything. I've checked in the settings and enabled the option, but when I return to the hotbar and try to set, I get a pop-up that says "press the button combination you want to set (select to exit)" Pressing any combination does nothing. Pressing select exits, and then pressing any combination does nothing. Pressing the combination WHILE pressing select does nothing.

You mean you want to set a macro to a hotbar? I'm guessing that's what you are saying, but you cannot do it without first making the macro; and while I've looked at them, I think they need a 100 page manual to explain wth they were thinking, so that we can think the same.

Oh, and yeah, the real reason you cannot set anything to the hotbar, is because they're doing maintenance :-P

To add any new item to PS3 crossbar go to that item (Action / trait in acton / trait screen, items in items screen or macro in macros screen) highlight / select the actin / item you want to add to crossbar, press square button and select the option Add to Crossbar, then press and hold L2 or R2 and then press the button to where you want yo add the command / item. Please note that if you're using the Hold / Mixed mode for your crossbar you need to have the crossbar deactivated (not on hold) otherwise you'd be unable to add items to the bar. What you're most likely doing is that you're trying to Edit the crossbar using the Select button - this is only usable to either remove some functions from the button (Select, then press L2 or R2 and then twice the button you want to remove the function from and then confirm to delete) or to move the already existing function to another button (Select, then press L2 or R2, press button which you want to move the function from, then button to wchi you want to move it). You can't add funtions to crossbar using the Select function directly. Alternatively you can also use the mouse to drag and drop the functions to crossbar as well as to rearange them there. *Are you able to add abilities to the bar using Gamepad/Mouse mode? (Under default control settings, you can enter this mode by pressing L1+R3)
*Are you attempting to set the actions through the Actions & Traits menu? Or by Holding a trigger and pressing SELECT?

Can marco put in a skill into ? Cause some are made with combo, so it better add all in one that it safe lots space. Cross bar is always not enought for me =-(
