Appearance Equipment slots!

Ok so in case any of you have no idea what im talking about. It is equipment slots (would usually go where you normally equip gear) that act as appearance only gear. Meaning you could wear one piece of gear but equip something in the appearance slot and "appear" to be wearing that. I know they have had something along those lines in a lot of MMO's including Perfect World, Everquest II, and Aion (aion was a lil different).

I know FFXIV and FFXI are far different from the standard MMO, but we do have a community of players who have tried other MMO's. So therefor I wish to suggest implementing appearance gear slots for the "fashion lover" in all of us!

Its a small request, but would have a big impact on how some of us enjoy the game.

I've always been completely for appearance slots. Only MMO I've played that used them to good effect was Vanguard: SOH, but I know it's been a popular feature in other MMOs as well (Aion and such). I do think it would work out pretty odd, though, seeing as anyone can equip any piece of gear already, though I would love running around in full plate mail as a Conjurer/Thaumaturge. Definitely not a priority feature, but would be a fun one to have a little later down the line. I think we need a bigger selection of armor styles and more class defining clothing options first.

Also, I would love an item preview of sorts! Especially with having to buy pretty much everything from the wards. I hate spending 60k or something on a piece of gear that I think will look good, only to find it just looks gaudy as hell on me. Granted, since they don't have BoE or BoP items right now, I can just sell it back if I don't like it, but it's still a pain.
