Crash when teleporting.

Not letting this get drowned out like my last one, i am randomly getting windows app crashes closing the game when i teleport. And only when i teleport.

Looking for some help/insight.

I am having the same issue, only it's happening to me even when I haven't done ANYTHING but walk around in the same zone for over an hour. It will randomly just crash. I agree this should not be drowned out by all the people who are complaining about not being able to log in. This is an actual game affecting issue.

I just started having this issue of the game crashing for no apparent reason also just yesterday (9/1/13). Once happened when I was trying to make my retainer, another happened in a cutscene, and the last happened while sitting in my inn room. The game just crashes when really doing nothing much at all. It only just started happening to me and no, nothing has changed on my PC for well over a week where I had been playing the game with no trouble till yesterday.

I managed to get into the game yesterday morning (really early in the day) and played fine for a couple of hours. I had just levelled my conjurer to level 15 -- giving me the ability to use my level 30 gladiator to finish the Paladin job quest. I was extremely excited to go back to Ul'dah from Gridania to turn this in. I decided to have my armour mending, first, before going back. As I was merrily running along; I fell through one of the bridges in old Gridania. It startled me, because I wondered if I would be trapped in the water and rock below it. I managed to find a well placed set of rocks that were stacked up like stairs to get back onto land and continued on my way about 5 or 6 steps until my game froze and then gave me the 9000 error. I was able to log back in....7 hours later. But hey, I'm a paladin now.......yay.

I've just tried grabbing the latest full suite of updates from Windows. I'll post back when/if i get the teleport crash again.

Edit: nope. very first teleport, crash. FML.
