You're right.... all these stupid threads about such an insignificant topic.
Most people not being able to log in and play... bah... We obviously need more amazing threads thanking the dev team.
Even if you can't log in to play... you should thank them for the potentially great time you COULD be having.
People make me sick paying for something and expecting to get it. Then when they don't get what they payed for, they have the NERVE to speak up for themselves. Just self entitled, I tell you.

The worst party.... If MOST threads are about this same topic, SE is gonna mistakenly get the idea that MOST people are having this issue. I mean, yea, that's probably true, but we don't want to make the dev team feel bad. OP, do you wanna be the person to make dear Yoshi-p cry again?

Well considering SE have seen the issue and are acting upon it, there really is no reason to complain more at this time. There is a sticky at the top of the forum which explains what they're doing, but yet people still need to complain? were is the logic bringing up a subject constantly that as been addressed and is scheduled a fix in 2 days? If they said "We've heard bout the issue and it will be fixed at some point" then i would be like yeah this is a bit much, but they have confirmed a date and will be compensating the days people have missed.

Just feel people want thing don instantly on the spo, but unfortunately thing dont work like that

Here's a head-scratcher for you all.

I try to log in today, fully expecting the 1017 error but resolute anyway...yet before I even can get to my character screen to click 'log in', I get the 1017 error.

That's right. Apparently the servers are SO FULL that I can't even see the character select screen. Just THINKING about logging in is causing them to kick me out.

Something is very not-right about this.

Don't believe me? Try to calmly return an open CD/DVD/Blu Ray to Best buy?

I can guarantee complaining will get you results

I'm sure when black people were protesting having to ride the back of the bus there were people who were saying "Oh my god... this again? Seriously, just ride in the back, you still get to your destination so it's no big deal"
But sometimes you stand up against injustice. You become a nuisance to the powers that be. You become that thorn in their side until they can't take it anymore

The difference is that's real life problems, this is a video game. And i have real life problems to attend to my self, so when i cant' get in instead of whining uncontrollably in the forums that I can't play, and i want to be the only one to play. I go outside get chores done, I go out to eat with friends. And not only that I log out so someone else can play.

I still manage to get in and play whether it be late at night or very early in the morning. I got something called an electric bill to pay so yeah i make sure i keep it cheap by turning off my comp. Sorry but this is just a video game i have more important things to tend to.

I've never had this problem logging in in the morning! I've tried since around 10:30 am and can't get in because of 1017 login errors, this whole thing is getting out of hand.

I know why it's happening, but I can't really blame people for doing it anymore. Everyone wants to play the game, not play the 1017 lottery. Add in the fact that there is no proper queue server and no auto-afk and SE has made a perfect environment for people to be selfish as a last resort and afk overnight, even if they would have happily waited in a queue IF THERE WAS ONE.

Plus now I'm also getting black page launchers, lobby errors and server errors. =(

/sigh odin pops in south shroud a couple of minutes ago on sargatanas and I immediately dc. Can't even get the lobby now.
