Like other players have experienced, I used my Collector's Edition bell today (as a legacy player and alpha and beta tester I do know how to use mail, etc.) and looked for my cool new mount to appear with my chocobo, but sadly it did not. I have submitted an in-game bug report and am also asking for assistance here. My son's birthday is coming up and I would really like to get (and maintain) the Collector's Edition for him as well because playing this game together is one way our large extended family stays in touch now that everyone's an adult.

If it's "buggy" however, I cannot see myself making the same mistake twice or more, given I have another son with a birthday coming up. I LOVE this game, played FFXI before staying loyal to FFXIV version one, did alpha and beta testing for this game and have now paid the extra money to upgrade my account. I don't know how much more I can give this franchise. I really would like have this issue resolved and get the mount I paid for, which was the main reason I paid for the Collector's Edition in the first place. I understand much is happening at this time but this should be a simple issue to fix...a matter of resending a simple email to a loyal customer of over a decade. I truly hope you decide to do so.
