Yeah that's 100% true. I guess they got a new Dell to replace an old one for us from 5pm-3am on Wednesday.

WTF I get up early to try to play and my damn start button does not light up. I am so close of canceling both accounts and requesting a refund.

It does feel as if the game had been launched and the people who should work on getting the players to play (and be actual PLAYERS) are enjoying their holiday just as we are(not). I'm pretty certain a group of ITs, sysadmins and devs are working on fixing this, but I'm pretty certain they're not at 100% staff, even 50% I doubt.

I too just got a 1017 before the character selection was loaded.

Let me clarify that for anyone who doesn't grasp it: I got a 'World is full' error before it even called up the world lists, nevermind me chosing a world.

Don't pretend this is working correctly. At the very least it is the wrong error message, though I doubt both Datacenters are down simultaneously when it's not maintenance.

Been trying to get on for a long while and this also came up for me. Now I am in the same boat, can't get past the lobby issue.
