USER INTERFACE BROKEN (FLASHES AND NOT PLAYABLE)

I was able to log in, but when I got in the game, I noticed that the words, quest helper, maps, the chat box and other information were blank. Then it all started to flash off and on. One minute the UI is working fine, then a second later, it all disappears. I wonder if anyone else is having the same issue.

I tried it again and the text and the symbols/icons on the UI are not working still. Now I have even noticed thin vertical white lines popping up in the UI, and those to kinda flash in and out.

Right click on the ff 14 icon you use to start the game. Goto properties. Compatibility, put a check mark in the 1st box down. Then from the compatability list choose windows xp service pack 2. Click ok. I had the same problem and this fixed it for me.

If your not comfortable doing the above. Right click the icon you use to start the game and click trouble shoot compatability. It should automatically do whats needed.

Good thing is you only need to do this once
