Can't see flying exp text

I don't know why but lately i just can't see the floating exp text when i kill a mob.. I tried to check and uncheck the "display flying text" but i still can't see the flying exp text :/
It's really annoying if i'll add the exp info to my chat since it will spam it..

just noticed this as well after taking a few days break. is this a 'working as intended'?
