Gil sellers are driving me nuts

If its not bad enough for them to spam there TOA violating websites in citys, it's worse to get tells from them. In the last 20 minutes, I've reported several accounts linked to one gil selling website.

Guys, if you see gil sellers, report them, so square can ban their accounts, and make room on the servers for people that actually want to actually play the game play the game.

FYI, if the gil sellers are gone, their bots go with them(Ip bans in da house son).

    Gil Sellers

These Jerks are taking up legitimate player slots on the servers.

How can we report them aside from writing a ticket? Imo Square Enix should implement a report button for easier access to send tickets. And yea, I've also seen them often already, pming me. Wish there would be at least a rightclick ignore function.

it goes deeper than even that. Where do you think the gil sellers get their gil?

They get it by having large groups of "bots" run around killing monsters non-stop for days on end, and then sell the items they gather to NPC's and other players. There have already been numerous sightings of bot swarms on several servers. It should look like a group of players with matching jobs and gear running around in perfect formation killing all mobs in their path, many will have similar or nonsense names. They will do this in the same area for hours or days at a time.

The gold spammers and their bots that make up a good portion of the overload. So if, like me, you have had trouble logging on. Gil sellers are a good chunk of the people (and non-people) you should thank. If possible get screenshots of the gil spammer user names and video of the bots in action should you see them. Then report them. Probably won't ever stop them completely, but we can make their lives a living hell in any case.

Unfortunately there's not much we can do but report them. These bots will always be in online games and we just have to accept it. The devs do their best to keep them out, but they are always one step ahead of everyone and is why we will always see them.

Report and block. Best way to battle greedy money grubbers is to see to it they get no money. People like that will ruin the in game economy. FFXI had massive economy problems and I don't want to see it happen here.

I think SE really needs to come down very hard on gilsellers. Like ton of bricks hard.

Also, we need the option to be able to block any incoming tells from players under a certain level/progress status, maybe post Ifrit fight. That would force spammers to have to level up past Ifrit just to spam us with tells. Have it, so if we initiate a tell, then the person can chat to us, or if they're on friends, they're allowed, but short of that - you block all communications from them.
