So you want 30 days for an outage that so far has lasted, what, 12?
Greedy much?

Calling the OP 'Greedy' is a bit harsh, optimistic might have been more appropriate.
It used to be common practice for companies who had badly let down their customers to make 'Good Will Gestures' by offering fairly generous compensation packages that outweighed the products/services lost. It would be prudent of Square-Enix to make such a gesture now, especially given that this is already a 'Rebirth/Relaunch' of a previously failed game & that subscription MMOs that have too much of a rocky start rarely survive or get forced to go the 'Freemium' route within the first 6-12 months.
For what it's worth I really like the game so far, at least on the few occasions I have been able to log in!

I also think that a free month compensation would be pertinent, because for now, we can only hope that the changes announced by the staff of Final Fantasy XIV will be effective in resolving the unablility to connect oneself to the servers. I'm playing on an American server and the only way people have found to get a place on their server is to stay connected all the time (meaning that even if they are at work or eating or sleeping, their computer is still running FFXIV). This comportement lead to more difficulties for the players who disconnected to log in another day. I succeeded to connect for the first time (and only time for now since the lauch on August 27) by an odd mean: my boyfriend and I put an alarm in order to wake up at 3 AM to log in to the server Behemoth early saturday morning. We tried to do the same monday morning but THE SERVER WAS STILL FULL FROM 2 AM TO 5 AM, Eastern time. Since this server seems full all the time, (we were also unable to connect sunday for all day), I doubt that the changes will be perceptible so fast. Thus, it would be great if the staff plan in their changes an automatical disconection for all players that stay inactive for too long (after 15-20 minutes for instance) like seen in other MMO. It would then permit others players to log in to their server.
Also, I get, queued at 4 AM and then received a message that the server was full once again. This is the first time that I get disconnected on a queue. Normally, entering a queue is annonciating that I'll be able to connect to the server in 2-3 minutes. Is there by any chance Premium account members that can pass before me in the queue? That is the only way I can explain to myself the incident for now.
