Servers will be down 5pm to 3am USA time?? (10+ hours).

Well the "miracle" fix is coming on Wednesday Sep. 3rd and what does SE do??? They choose 5pm to 3am pdt to take down every world and hopefully fix this huge problem they should've never had. If after 10+ hours of taking all worlds down during the peak playtime hours in the USA this crap isn't fixed people are going to quit in droves, why not take all worlds down maybe from 2am to 12pm, that makes more sense, instead you choose to screw over the US population again.

Unlike their last fix that went from not being able to queue for instances they made us bottleneck through in the first place to not being able to play at all.

I'm fine with the maintenance even if it's during my prime time (EU) as long as the servers will get fixed, heck, I wouldn't even mind if they'd just do the maintenance now. Most people complaining here just sound like people that don't have anything else to do besides the urge to play FF.

Yea I mean were dumb or something paying money and expecting to get actual product out of it. I mean on top of that, think about the monthly fees, were renting the use of 1017 repeatedly, and not getting the product advertised... if only there were something legal we could do about it, if it isn't resolved in a timely manner..

Oh wait... Class action lawsuit regarding false advertisement of a finished product and failure to deliver such a product when advertised as such.

Although honestly I hope it doesn't come to that.

This major downtime doesn't have any "fix" listed for "massive players AFKing because they think that helps the problem" - no instead it lists new servers and some fixes for other errors. So unless they are "sneaking" it in, as soon as the downtime is done - if you don't get in, you'll be right back to waiting.

Sucks for us that actually LOG OUT when we go to bed/work/school.

Okay, but it's nigh-impossible to get in during NA prime time anyway, and this is supposedly going to fix these problems for good, so what's the sense of complaining about the timing of the maintenance that is going to let you play?
