20 digit code "already registered" after several days of successful playing?

I had a few days where it worked fine. Then on 8/30, it said "the server disconnected" or something like that (Phoenix server), and when I tried to log back in, instead of just wanting ID and pw as usual, it asks me to register again, asks for the 20-digit code, and then says the 20-digit code is already registered. Also the login info, TOS, etc. that was previously saved, is now unsaved, as though it's a fresh install.

So the ID and PW are good, but it's as though it no longer associates the 20-digit code with my account, and therefore I can't get in-game. I only have 1 account and it's the one I originally registered the code with, so...

A lot of people are having this problem from what I've seen. I have not seen a solution for it yet. Have you tried reinstalling the client/software?

I had this the other day. Appearently, what we entered for code the first time was for early access and nothing more. If you have bought from SE, they suppose to send you another E-Mail with another 20 digit code which is for the full release digital copy. Oddly enough the prelaunch code was sent fine but the second code which was sent back in the 27th went straight to my spam folder. When I figured that out, I entered the code again and I'm back in the game. I preordered the game via SE official site and I purchased the digital standard copy.

Wow that was totally it, thanks man. I found the OTHER 20 digit code in an email they sent BEFORE the early access 20 digit code (/facepalm!!!) But I'll leave this up for anyone having the same issue. And now I'm back in, except of course now it's undergoing maintenance haha.

Bear in mind there were two 20-digit codes. The first was for early access, while the second grants the 30 days.

The email Subject line, for me anyway was:

from webhelp.v4​@digitalriv​er.com
Square-Enix, Inc. - Product Now Available (Order #....)

And towards the bottom it says "Digital Rights: (and then the 20-digit code)

Did you order from SE or another site like amazon? People were having problem getting another full launch code from other places besides the official SE digital copy.

If it was from Amazon, log in to your account and then go the the Your Account drop down where you can access things like your orders, your video library, etc.
Towards the bottom there should be "Your Games and Software Library". Go to that and your copy of the game should show up along with an activation key. Input this key and you should be good to go.
That is what I did and it worked for me.
