petition: REVIVE Tetrimaster!

I would love to play this again

For those who don't know, this game came with FFXI and also played in FF8.

This isn't tetris. It is a card game in with FF monsters on a card board.

I want to play this game again ever since they shut it down in FFXI on playonline.

Would be great if they implant this as part of ingame mini-game where you can collect cards drops at various locations as well.

I'm sorry but no. please no. first Tetramaster was part of FFIX and it was horrible in comparison to VIII's Triple Triad, now if they brought that in I'm all for it

I prefer the Triple Triad much more myself too. I'd love to see something like this in game, where you can gather cards from enemies or find them in rare locations to encourage exploring.

I know there were tons of thoughts, ideas, and suggestions to implement a card game in FFXIV. Yoshi-P wants to do this, but indicated he hasn't gotten ideas (from devs) that he felt were worth implementing. Sounds like something that might be a very slight possibility to have in game, but it might be pretty far off.

I remember hearing someone talking about minigames like these on a stream the other night...

They suggested being able to play with people in the queue with you when you're trying to log in :3

I've never been fond of card games, but Triple Triad was genuinely fun. I'd be all for that. Tetra Master...eh. I only played it once voluntarily, and that was when FFXI had an issue that prevented dial-up connections from being able to download a patch. I wound up having to mail my PS2 to an out-of-state friend with broadband to update it for me -.-

Yes! They should definitely add a minigame. Every final fantasy needs an unbeatable boss and a minigame.

How about something like... a cross between Sega swirl and Puzzle Fighter, where the pieces are materia. The players could bet materia or gil at the beginning of the match, and the winner takes the pot.
