Crafting Gear Help Please

Have any crafters out there come up with gear combos that will allow you to reach the 347 Craftsmanship and 318 Control levels required to make high end items. Is it even possible? Or should the 347 Craftsmanship be readjusted to a more reasonable level. I have looked but for me to attain one level I need to sacrifice the other. Any help would be appreciated.

You're going to have to do materia melding on HQ items + use food to boost your stats to reach those levels, can't really give you any specifics though. Just use your best judgement and math skills. ^^

It's doable with materia and HQ craft gear. The skill caps are not too hard to hit with a little food even without all HQ gear/materia.
The items in question however require very difficult to obtain items such as Animal fat to make Hard Hippogryph Leather or Coke to Make Darksteel ingots, you need 9 for each synth and so far the only way I've found to obtain them is spend 125 tomestones of philosophy each and they are rather hard to come by. I'm hoping the items also drop in chest from high level dungeons in lieu of allagan currency.

Pretty much what the people have posted above. Crafting AF will allow you to slot T4 materia and has higher stat caps than the old 1.0 crafting gear. You need to pay attention when melding you dont hit the cap and then meld in worthless materia. Different gear pieces tend to favour one stat over as well. Unlike 1.0 off hand tools increase your stats now so get a militia off hand tool as well. It can be done without food, although it will make it easier for some people. Same thing with gathering as well. HQ AF and melding can get you to the region of 385 perception.

• LV50 job specific x4 meld body
• LV50 double meld job rest

These are not that hard only if you have like 20 cracked materia.
Otherwise please use food... the best one +32 craftmanship
However, please review the materials you need to make the new 2 stars mats... the craftmanship wasn't the problem, it's the mat...
