Game asking for registration

Loaded up the game when I got home, logged into my account and it asks me to activate my copy of FFXIV. This makes no sense since I've already activated it and have been playing since early access. Help?

There was one code for EA, and another one for actual game. Example, I bought my copy from GMG and they sent me an EA code when EA was active, then they sent me an email with the code on the 26th. Perhaps that is your issue? There are about 30 billion threads on this. Check and you should find a potential solution to your issue.

you're right it doesnt make sense. however you have to reregister. BE CAREFUL. read everything very thoroughly. you can accidentally create a new service account like 1000s have already done and make your account with all your characters inactive!!! i believe the correct option is to add platform. just be sure to read it carefully. many many people have gotten burned doing this. hope it works out.. just re register your code on psn and follow the steps ultra carefully.

i got that too....after 3 hours of 1017, finally getting in, and then getting kick.....TWICE!!!!!

I am having the same problem, and I never received another key.. the key I did get that was already registered says invalid.. this game has more issues than Lindsey Lohan.

Double checked and found an email on 8/27 from digitalriver that had my code in it. Initially I didn't take much notice because the code is so similar to my original pre-order code. Fixed the issue.

there is a different code than from pre order release. the code used during then is ONLY for the first few days or till the 31st of last month.


you must check amazon or whatever you used to buy for updated code. I had same problem and thats what fixed it.. also again LAME for SE no explaining any of this....

Im having the same issue....happened to me twice today after waiting out 1017 for three hourse just to get kicked after 30 min.... then i was getting this message!!

Honestly this has almost become comical
