Name change :)

When SE first announced veteran awards, it was stated that fantasia would allow you to change everything except class. Now it states everything except name and class. I guess I'm stuck with my test character's temporary name now......

Edit due to posting limits: When I applied to my FC, I stated that I was planning on changing my character's name to avoid confusion. I figured on something like "Fixana", or just "Fixitmans Ho" (chuckle). Now they are going to have to get used to Sophiane in-game being Fixitman on TS... and I feel stupid for saying I was going to change her name.

I'm curious, when server transfers roll around, what will happen if someone has our name on a different server? I tried to create a toon on Gilgamesh for fun this morning and someone already had Heal Bot

Will they force us to change name? If so that's pretty good

I want this too! I want to change my race to Elezen, but "Buster Stonegrip" doesn't sound very Elezen-ish.

I think a name change should have come with the fantasia potion. I can't imagine how many people leveled to 30s-40s+ with a certain race/sex, found out they hated it, and wanted to change to something of the opposite sex or even just another race... but they're stuck with their name! I agree though, paid name changes should be a definite thing. I think eventually paid race changes and recustomizations should be allowed as well!

I agree with this. I want to do a race change with my vial but can't because my name is both race and gender based. There is no reason this shouldn't be a part of the vial
