Name change :)

I think a name change should have come with the fantasia potion. I can't imagine how many people leveled to 30s-40s+ with a certain race/sex, found out they hated it, and wanted to change to something of the opposite sex or even just another race... but they're stuck with their name! I agree though, paid name changes should be a definite thing. I think eventually paid race changes and recustomizations should be allowed as well!

Seconding this. Name changes should be part of race/gender/appearance changes. Once there are more costume or aesthetic items, people are certainly going to want to make use of them and probably want to be able to swap genders now and then based on what is released. This is especially true given that the Armoire is not shared among characters on the account, ruling out the option of rerolling as a way to make name fit gender.

Probably a quick way for this to get noticed is to post it a couple of times from different people here in the next live letter question forum.

Wish they would add the name change to the Fantasia Item though since I was thinking about changing my character so my Friends from FFXI would know who I am quicker then having to remember my character this time around but not going to do that till they add the name change to the Fantasia.

I agree with this. I want to do a race change with my vial but can't because my name is both race and gender based. There is no reason this shouldn't be a part of the vial

Hello, I actually logged to forums just to support this thread.
First of all I thank you Heal_Bot for making this thread and yes I fully support name change service in some form. It's not like that I don't like my current name but I would most likely want to change my characters gender with fantasia next month and it just sucks if you happen to have feminish name. Most logical solution would be name change service added to fantasia like it was mentioned so many times already in this post because tbh it doesn't make sense that you can change gender but not name... I don't want this name to be a tattoo I carry for the rest of my life :P
