    Can't Login - Compensation

    I can't login at any reasonable time in my schedule. This causes extreme frustration and the issues seems to be getting worse. I've gotten into the game less and less as time goes on. When I get into the game I see hundreds of players that are idle.

    I'm paying for this game service so that I can play when I want to. The servers are full, great but they are also full of idle players. You need to increase capacity, I understand this but you need to give eta's and make adjustments to our accounts to account for our not being able to play. We are supposed to pay a monthly fee? So we should be able to play. Add time to our accounts to compensate for full servers. I was in queue a little while ago... 419 people in front of me. My bro who was injured recently and is bed ridden was able to get in after trying for a long time a few days ago. Now he can't get in at all.

    Understand this, I appreciate the fact that the game is over selling, I appreciate the fact that the servers are full of players and have players that want to get in. Until such a time when server load and players waiting to play are lower, compensation needs to be made. MY days of play are being wasted.

    Another issue was early release. This is a time for a head start and what not for people that pre-ordered or whathaveyou... I didn't get a good head-start and i'll never get that chance again. Very frustrating... Later down the line once the game is out for a while It won't mater, but for alot of people that love playing good games. head-starts are awesome. My awesomeness of it was ruined.

    Other than that, servers being full is good means we should have plenty of people to play with + higher budgets for content and whatnot down the line. So people stick with it. don't Final Fantasy 14 and SE Crew please compensate subscribers for this frustrating period of non access.

    I can't agree more! This is the single most frustrating game release I have ever seen (and I've seen a few since original EQ).

    First thing, and this is the bare minimum, we are owed an extended free month. I've only been able to play about four legitimate days since early release started - and that is incredibly frustrating for a hardcore gamer who would play multiple hours every day. Second thing, the queue system needs to be running like a week ago. Not sure why this is rocket science and takes this long to fix/construct. Third, idle players need to be booted. They should not be online and idle for more than 30 minutes, and that's being a bit generous with the player load right now.

    As it stands right now, unless all of these issues are addressed within the next week, SE will not get another cent from me for this title. And I know I'm not alone with that sentiment.

    They're "considering" adding 7 days to accounts on the 4th when they fix the servers. Not that it's really compensation since there's an extremely large amount of players who won't even get to play at all during those 7 days of server problems. So they'd essentially just be resetting your free trial back to the default amount of days, but not including anything for your aggravation, wasted time, loss of entertainment, and loss of potential character advancement.

    compensation - something, typically money, awarded to someone as a recompense for loss, injury, or suffering.

    resetting your free trial is all the compensation they need to do. To say you need more than that..... cry us all a river.

    Loss=Time - one week of it in fact. Recompense: They extend us the week we lost. Cool move.
    Injury=Time - Most of us have high value on the time we extend to our activities around us. This causes us pain when the method with which we CHOOSE to spend our time tells us "Sorry, the world is full and there is no Que active to log in - ever".
    Suffering=Emotional attachment that we have to our spare time is enormous. People work very hard to earn money, time off, entertainment. Sure, we are on a free period at the moment, and that great, but what matters is the time we have been afforded to lose due to their negligence and "miscalculations" as Yoshi put it.

    Now from my understand, Compensation is required to meet the fair value of the claimed loss, injury, or suffering. Since I make 50 dollars an hour at work, is it fair to assume that the 21 hours in the last 3 days I've expended on my weekend to log in should adequate me 1050 dollars of value? We aren't asking for a free lifetime subscription, but we would like our TIME to be worth something to SE enough to offer recompense for the suffering and loss we have experienced. It's not much to ask to be valued as individuals and investors of their company and game.

    My sentiments, anyway.

    People deserve better

    People deserve much better than this. This is not a new company that just got into making games in the early 90s where the internet was still young. This is an experienced company that knows what a game like this requires. Poor planning and poor follow up has lead to people questioning the success or potential of this game. Now, people can say it's just a game, get over it or something like you haven't paid a monthly sub yet. Those 2 statements have no relevance what so ever. All I can say again is "people deserve better".

    No. No free days. So it takes us longer to get veteran rewards? No thanks. How about a title like "Codebreaker" or "Error Refugee"? Or maybe a pet OK button that repeatedly clicks itself when you walk? Something we can show for going through this crap. I can afford time.

    Customer support, but why are you wanting a refund. the game is a major success and its fun?
    we need to wait but we need compensation.
