PS3 Keyboard Controller

I used to use the Logitech Netplay Controller for FFXI on PS2 and it was awesome. Is there anything like that controller for PS3? I have the PS3 KB that clips onto the Dual-Shock... and it is horrible... very difficult to carry on any kind of a conversation with it. For now, I'm the silent PS3 player and would love a solution that doesn't involve using a mouse or having to put down my controller every time I need to type. The Netplay controller was the perfect solution for that.

not that i know of... i would just stick with any wireless keyboard (all usb keyboards work with ps3). you can find some pretty cool gaming ones or really cheap ones at wal mart that work just fine. i've heard bad things about the clip on keypad too.

My thought when I first bought it as well. But it sits nicely on your lap and provides all the functionality of the dual-shock with easy access to a fully functional keyboard. Also, not as heavy as you'd think.

Why not just use the ps2 one you have? you can spring for an adapter for like 5 bucks.

Great idea. Does such an adapter exist? I sold the controller when I moved back to Canada from Japan a few years back so I'd have to buy the controller again...

Just jump on amazon there are many adapters that will work

wow i didn't know that, i might do the same. i used to play EQOA with one back in the day. it was massive, but i loved it.

So I finally received my Netplay controller and adapter but the controller doesn't work in ARR... The controller and KB work in the PS3 XMB, all of my other games (SE games too) and also it works in the ARR login. The KB works in ARR but the controller doesn't. I've tried with the mode button on and off, it just won't work?

Anyone else using a netplay controller and experiencing this? How did you get it to work in ARR?
