    Yea I have that problem as well. Though I bought it digitally. My problem supposedly seems to be a faulty license so it isn't registering on SE side that i've have actually bought the game. Also theres a thread already about this on these forums. Probably got pushed a couple of pages back or something.
    Anyways yea, SE and Sony have acknowledged the problem. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...n-27-8-or-28-8
    Though when it'll get fixed is anyone guess really. None of their updates after that post has no mention of our problem. I'd like to think it'll be tomorrow when they have the maintenance. But with no conformation its possible it might still take a while.

    Had similar issue and this is what fixed it::

    Go to their main site:
    http://www.square-enix.com/

    Log in with your SE account
    Click on profile, settings, link accounts and link your PSN account.

    On PS3 go to account management, redeem codes
    Put in the code on the back of the pamphlet not the one from the little paper
    Download the client if you havent
    When finished click on the client and follow the prompts, that should get you in.

    Go to the Mogstation and get what service

    Then you didn't have an existing service account with charcters on it from 1.0 or Beta 4... (which should had been linked to our purchase by Sony directly)

    So far I haven't heard anything from Square Enix or Sony, and I find it a bit worrying. Hopefully this issue will be resolved in the near future, but I hope that this thread will put some pressure on Square Enix and let them know that a lot of people are unable to enjoy FFXIV on their PS3 system.
    you have to buy it for pc and ps3 to unlock both they sead that in beta

    I too am having PS3 login problems. giving me world is full and 1017 error. Keep trying if you get this may take sometimes 5mins to get in or up to 45mins depending. I'm now getting unable to get Server list and puts me into the NA/EU servers which I don't use. Sometimes can not even load my character and crashes me. I also is getting annoyed but all I can do is wait until maintenance and see if its cleared up. I think when they sort out this issue it will also stop a lot of the rendering of mobs. SE didn't expect this much members so lets give them time.

    Also to your PSN store download. I don't know much about that problem I downloaded FFXIV on phase 3 and 4 and then brought the game on day release. Never had any other issues apart from the date centres that's causing issues with everyone at the moment.

    this problem is affecting eu customers who purchased the digital download from psn na,ja psn digital ps hardcopy and pc players have a different problems . for us eu psn digital customers its been a week now and our purchases have not been acknowledged we need an update we have been patient . we need a resolution date and your plan of action . i dont think its much to ask after 7 days of being told we havent purchased the game despite sony having records of all the sales

    A lot of people either accidentally created new accounts with the new PS3 copy or selected the wrong service account, if you call Tech support they should be able to fix it, and there are posts about this issue already (there was even one IN the launcher)
